On Tuesday, October 7, 2024, the Smithtown-Hauppauge JV Ice Hockey Team organized a food drive at Stop and Shop in Smithtown to support the Smithtown Emergency Food Pantry. The team successfully filled an entire truck with donations. They collected food from customers and also made purchases themselves. The volunteers at the food pantry expressed their gratitude, noting it was one of the largest contributions they have ever received. Congratulations to the team for their outstanding effort and community spirit!
